QATAR CHARITY DONATES 50 BOXES OF BASIC FOOD SUPPLIES TO MRA FOR THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY IN PUCHONG

On 19 March, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA), in collaboration with Qadar Charity, successfully organised the Kongsi Rezeki @ Surau At-Toyyibah programme to extend essential food aid to the Orang Asli Muslim community in Kampung Sungai Rasau Hilir, Puchong.

The distribution ceremony took place on Wednesday evening following the Maghrib prayers an the breaking of fast at Surau At-Toyyibah. A total of 50 food boxes were distributed to 50 recipients from the Orang Asli community. The handover was officiated by MRA Vice President I, Tuan Haji Khairil Annuar Bin Khalid.

Each box, thoughtfully prepared by Qatar Charity, contained essential food items designed to support a family's household needs for two to three weeks during Ramadan. This initiative aims to alleviate the burden faced by underprivileged families while fostering a spirit of unity and comppassion within the community.

MRA extends it's heartfelt appreciation to Qatar Charity for their generous support. This meaningful collaboration not only uplifts the Asnaf (eligible zakat recipients), but also strengthens the culture of care and solidarity during this sacred month.

MRA hopes this initiative will inspire more individuals and organisations to come forward in supporting vulnerable communities, especially in the spirit of Ramadan.
