Islam & Citarasa Penyatuan - Four-Part Lecture Series Successfully Organized
Malaysian Relief
Agency (MRA) Selangor, in collaboration with Kota Kata and the Raja Zarith
Sofiah Centre for Advanced Studies on Islam, Science and Civilization
(RZS-CASIS), successfully organized a four-part lecture series titled Islam
& Citarasa Penyatuan.
The fourth session
took place on February 26, 2025, at the Lecture Hall 2, Faculty of Science,
University of Malaya (UM), with over 70 participants consisting of students and
external attendees. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Roslan Jelani from RZS-CASIS,
who explored the topic in-depth, covering the definitions and key factors in
building unity within Malaysia’s multicultural society, guided by the teachings
of the Qur'an as the main reference.
As a co-organizer, MRA
Selangor considers this program a highly valuable initiative in shaping a new
generation that will lead with good character and high knowledge, contributing
to the harmony and unity of Malaysian society.
In addition, MRA
Selangor also took the opportunity during this event to interact and engage
with UM students, especially members of the UM Malay Language Association, and
invited them to join MRA Siswa (UM). This initiative aims to strengthen the
spirit of volunteering among university students and actively involve them in
humanitarian missions.
