KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 – In line with its ongoing commitment to humanitarian assistance, the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) recently conducted a special visit to PUSRAWI International College of Medical Sciences (PICOMS) to support Palestinian residents living in Malaysia. This initiative aimed not only to provide aid but also to better understand the challenges they face, including welfare, healthcare access, and adaptation to a new environment.

A key highlight of the visit was the distribution of food aid, a gesture that, while simple, carries profound significance in easing the daily struggles of the Palestinian community. Beyond addressing immediate needs, this initiative also conveyed a strong message of solidarity and empathy from the people of Malaysia.

In addition to delivering aid, the MRA team spent valuable time engaging with the Palestinian residents. In a warm and supportive setting, they inquired about their well-being and listened to their personal experiences of adjusting to life far from their homeland. The residents shared their challenges, including difficulties in accessing healthcare services, adapting to climate differences, and overcoming cultural and language barriers.
