The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan, officiated the Launching Ceremony of the Humanitarian Initiative for Palestine on July 3, 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine and the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This initiative is a collaboration between the Palestinian People's Humanitarian Trust Fund (AAKRP) and TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, as well as a program with Yayasan Budi Ihsan Malaysia through the Mission 1 Million Food Packs and Sacrificial Meat to Palestine. Additionally, the Foreign Minister presented Certificates of Appreciation to volunteers, Malaysian NGOs under the Ops Ihsan initiative, and its strategic partners.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation and gratitude to all companies and associations that contributed to AAKRP. This includes contributions from the Johor State Administrative Officers Association, ASTRO Malaysia Holdings, SPANCO Sdn. Bhd., and the Malay Community Association of Acheh Klang, where a total contribution of RM456,874.55 was received.
